Hymn of the Seraphim and Hymn of the Cherubim were created as two separate structures resembling monoliths but interact as one piece. The two pose questions. As the title suggests, a song, possibly of lament, alludes to loss. Not all hymns are the same, some celebrate a promise or an awakening. One can not overlook given the last two years of living through a pandemic that these works were created through the lens of loss and isolation.
