The Isenheim Interior, an installation

Cranbrook Art Museum

September 28 - October 30, 1994

"The Isenheim Interior is the sacred space in which a spiritual ritual has just ended and all that remains are the artifacts used during the service. It is the moment after the sacred event, and the visitor must reconstruct the drama, using the sets and props that remain."
