RECKONING

Here, we see the truth of what we walked through. In the water, in the dark mirror, we recognize how the years scored us, our bodies so vulnerable, so close to others. So intimate, so raw. We see the shadows standing behind us, reminding us of what was lost, and what remains. Do we dare to look here to this life, to this hour, to this time in history, and claim it as our own?
