INNOCENCE
Innocence explores childhood memories by the use of objects, i.e. toys, dolls, books as symbols of play and the imagination; familiar terrain of a child’s mind. In the process of exploring these ideas the poetry of Willam Blake became integral to the unfolding of a subsequent series of books, The Book of Innocence and The Book of Experience, inspired by his Songs of Innocence and Songs of Experience.
