A plastic angel figure from a funeral plant arrangement, a planter of red and yellow tulips, a bird bath, and a displaced dove from a Christmas ornament collection lace the landscape of In my Father’s garden. This double-sided drawing was created as an elegy to the couple who owned these objects. The drawing was executed through the lens of a child’s imagination.
